I do a pretty good job supporting Apple through the iTunes music store. A dollar, one quick click for instant music gratification just seems like a bargain — over and over again. I like to think between Apple and Amazon I am keeping the US economy strong. These colors don’t run and stuff like that.

Last month Nate pointed me to a site that would give me 10 free songs if I downloaded a white paper on VOIP. At about the same time Chris and Sai gave me an iTunes gift certificate for my birthday. Ever since then I haven’t bought any music because the songs had to be good enough to justify using my “free songs.” I can’t wait for some Apple marketing wonk to try to figure out that buying pattern.

Recently Gregd hooked me up with Amazon Prime which sadly has had a very opposite affect on my buying habits. Free two day shipping is like buying a junky drugs as far as I can tell.
