A little panda in the morning

Eat the Panda

I landed in Chicago about 5:30am and had some time to kill before my 9am flight. To stay away I wandered down to a food court, grabbing a newspaper and a yogurt, and sitting at an empty bar (O’brien’s for those who know the O’Hare food courts as well as me). After about 30 minutes two guys who looked like they were trying (and failing) to be Kid Rock sat down next to me and were absolutely outraged that the women making bagels behind the bar wouldn’t serve them a drink. “GOD DAMMIT,” one of them shouted and they both stormed off. I thought of offering them some Robitussin I had in my bag but decided it was way too early to get punched in the face. What was even crazier was about 7am Panda Express started to open. I kept watching thinking, “they have to be kidding right?” By 7:30 there was a line. Now there’s a market I never would have guess existed.
