Some of you might remember I accidentally put my bluetooth headset through the wash a couple weeks ago and it didn’t fair so well. In a repeat performance I managed to put my wired headset through the wash last weekend. It still works! (At least since Sunday.)
There are two clear conclusions I can make from this:
1. All new technology sucks
2. It is a bad idea to hang out in my pocket if you don’t like warm soapy water followed by a tumble dry
Aargh! Stupid power of suggestion. I saw this and laughed, saying “Oh, Scott, putting stuff through the washer. Ha ha ha.” Well wouldn’t you know it? Last night Michelle comes over and hands me my bluetooth headset. “Guess what I found in the washing machine?” she asks.
Bitter. I hereby offer independent verification that bluetooth + a washing machine = a worthless piece of plastic.
