I was inspired as of late and finally moved off the default Wordpress theme. I wrote my own theme based on Rin, so the blog now has a new skin. I also overhauled happinwater.com — the previous design was so bad it hurt me. You can see the new design was heavily influenced by Mandhaus, the Mandy Sladden school of design (not to be confused with Bauhaus). She also is responsible for hooking me to the Gill Sans font. You know what they say, once you go Gill Sans, you never go back.

Should Joe be worried that your resume is prominantly featured on your site even though you have already found a new job? :)
Did I tell you that I got an email last week from a headhunter looking for someone to manage a “Large Mercury ITG Deployment in Dallas TX”… nice to know that our career options in the Graphical Workflow Configuration space haven’t been narrowed. Or something.
I know all the cool kids are using FireFox, but you might want to check your blog in IE :).
Well dammit. I just fired my QA staff. Seems the new design can’t handle images larger than the content area without screwing up IE. Something to debug…

The only gripe I have with Gill Sans is that the capital “J” and “Q” dip below below the baseline and I don’t much care for the lowercase “g”. You might check out Univers. You may just fall out of love with Gill Sans :)
