Firefox image resizing

I spend a lot of time looking at screen mock-ups through my browser, and I’m always annoyed when Firefox decides to resize the image because it doesn’t exactly fit in my viewport. This forces me to click on every image to expand it to the full size. Turns out, you can switch this default.

Although I suppose it makes sense that the updater knows how to update itself.

Missing Julie

My cousin Julie, who battled stage IV breast cancer for two years, moved to hospice care on Saturday after a final chemo regiment failed. She was surrounded by family in her final days and passed away peacefully on Sunday morning. She will be will be greatly missed by all of us.

EMI steps up to the plate

EMI, the third largest music label, announced today it will begin selling its entire music catalog DRM free on iTunes. Kudos to the leadership at EMI for taking this huge step forward. Hopefully Steve’s  well articulated argument against DRM will continue to have positive impact on digital music.
