I was walking by Radio Shack today and noticed they have a new tag-line:
Radio Shack - Do Stuff™
I would have absolutely killed to be in the room when this was decided. “We need a call to action that speaks to the youth of today. Anybody have kids? Ask them what they do on MySpace. What did they say? Stuff? Hmmm…we can work with that…” My idea for their next tag-line is “Buy Things. Please.”
They even have a Do Stuff magazine.
I’m inspired. (I’m also digging the utility belt.)

Looks suspiciously like the bus stop ads in the Castro for gay matchmaking services that I pass to work in the morning. Or perhaps a public service message from tweaker.org about the wholesome alternatives to meth: “Do stuff, not crystal.” Point is: there’s a homoerotic undercurrent here (viz. “the ultimate man room”) that can’t be ignored…
Wow. What is Radio Shack’s idea of “The Ultimate Man Room”?
